Honorable Chad Cable
Mr. Cable served as Judge of the newly created Hopkins County Court at Law
from 1992 to 1996, where he guided the creation and start up of a special
statutory court with jurisdiction concurrent to that of district courts,
which soon became the busiest court in Hopkins County. Prior to serving on
the bench he had a general trial practice in Sulphur Springs, Texas and for
two years, from 1985 to 1987, he was a partner in a personal injury
litigation boutique firm in Houston. Since leaving the bench he has had a
busy practice in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Mr. Cable has developed a
broad base of experience, particularly in real estate, construction,
probate, family and personal injury matters.
Honorable Robert A.
Gammage
Former Texas Supreme Court Justice Bob Gammage is a lawyer, teacher,
and veteran of both Army and Navy service, and retired as Captain in the U.
S. Naval Reserve Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps. Bob also served as a
Justice of the Texas Court of Appeals, as an Assistant Attorney General of
Texas, as a Special Consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy, in the U.S.
House of Representatives, the Texas Senate and the Texas House of
Representatives. He currently serves as a consultant on legal and
professional ethics, teaches courses in political science and legal studies
at Texas State University, and has been a practicing certified arbitrator
and mediator since 1995.
Honorable Juanita L.
Pavlick
Ms. Pavlick served as District Judge for the 89th District Court
in Wichita Falls, Texas from 1993 to 2004. There she presided over felony
criminal cases, juvenile cases, family cases and civil litigation of all
types, including personal injury trials, contract disputes, employment
trials and consumer trials. She was the first woman elected as district
judge to Wichita County. Prior to serving as Judge, she was the Chief of the
Civil Division in the Wichita County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.
She also has extensive experience in private practice as well as extensive
experience as an arbitrator.
Honorable Michael D.
Schattman
Mr. Schattman has been a licensed
attorney for 36 years. During that time he served as District Judge for the
348th Judicial District of Texas in Fort Worth from 1983 to 1996
and Judge for the County Court at Law No. 2 in Tarrant County from 1979 to
1983. He was nominated to the federal bench and was appointed General
Counsel of the U.S. Small Business Administration from 1998 to 2000. He has
served on numerous boards and has taken on several different positions in
local law firms. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of
Arbitrators. |
